Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub Review

Hi!(: It's Liz!
I'm going to be reviewing the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub.
This product costs $7.99-$8.99 depending on what size you get. I got the 6.7 FL OZ (198 mL) size. It lasts you a pretty long time. Once again you can get this at most drugstores, I got mine at Costco in a 2-pack. It claims: "With an uplifting blast of grapefruit plus vitamin C, this unique formula clears blemishes and blackheads. Gentle microbeads smooth away roughness without over-drying or irritating for clearer, healthier looking skin." This was an o.k. scrub. I'd give it 3 stars. It does exfoliate, but what scrub doesn't? If you scrub too hard it can tear the skin, and feel too harsh. There are little white beads infused into the scrub along with bigger pink ones. For this to actually foam, you apply a dime sized amount onto your hand then run it under some gentle flowing water. Then you can start to wash your face with it. It will start to foam when you start scrubing your face. It does have a nice smell, that you will not get sick of. It didn't clear my acne, but I had less acne than before. I wouldn't recommend this to people with dry skin. If you have oily skin and want to give Neutrogena a chance go for this. I would recommend this to people with oily skin. I will not be repurchasing this again simply becuase it didn't "wow" me and I am looking for different things.

Neutrgoena Body Clear Body Spray Review

Hi!(: It's Liz again. LOL!

I'm on a roll here. Don't worry, I'm not finished yet! :D Well! I'm going to be reviewing the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray.
This is a new product. This is supposed to help with body acne. It costs around $8.49. You can get this at most drugstores. I got mine at Target. You get 4 FL OZ (118 mL) of product in a spray bottle. This claims: "Clear and help prevent body breakouts with this unique, quick-drying formula. Break-through 360 degree pump sprays from any angle, even upside down, to treat hard-to-reach areas like the back and shoulders. No sticky residue." All right! Well, for one thing I have mild acne on my chest, back, and shoulders. This did not treat my acne, and I don't believe it prevented it because I still break out on my body. You can spray this from any angle. It isn't that quick drying, but it won't stick to your clothes. I spray this right after I dry my body after I get out of the shower and before I put on my clothes. At this point, I'm just trying to finish the bottle, so I won't have to feel guilty for buying this and not using it. I will not be repurchasing this, and I would not recommend this to a friend. If you do buy this, I hope you have better luck with this than I did.(:

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

Hi!(: It's Liz.

I'm going to be reviewing an AWESOME hair product. The TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray!
This is an inexpensive, drugstore heat protectant. This costs $3.84. Which is quite a bargain in my opinion. You can get this at most drugstores, I got mine at Target. It come with 8 FL OZ (236 mL). It claims: "...This product guards against heat and friction to keep your hair shiny and incredibly soft. It's a fantastic tool for instantly transforming all hair textures, enhancing strands flexibility to reform and hold shape..." I couldn't agree more. I spray this all over hair from mid-shaft to the ends before I dry my hair, or use any heat styling tool. Most people forget that hair dryers are heat too, they can also damage your hair, especially if you dry your hair everyday like I do. It really softens your hair, and makes it shiny. My hair has felt softer and just healthier. This does have a scent, which in the beginning smells good, but if you use this product everyday, the smell can kinda get to you. Other than that a great product! One tip, is keep the black thing that keeps the nozzle from spraying. It just keeps it easier for travel. If you drop it and you have the black thing on the nozzle it will not spray. Simply just take the black thing off by pulling on it gently, the just place it back on where it was originally. Overall this is a great heat protectant at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this to a friend, and I will be repurchasing this again.

Red Red - Wet n Wild Wild Shine polish review/swatch

Hey everyone, it's Chae!
Last night, while discussing future plans with Elizabeth, I decided to kick off this blog with a nail polish review/swatch.
I didn't know what color to choose, and decided to go back to the very first polish I bought with my own money... Wet n Wild's Wild Shine nail polish in 414A: Red Red.
The Wild Shine collection polishes are usually found at all drugstores and many grocery stores at just 99 cents each!
Let's get to the photos!
I started off with 2 coats of OPI Natural Nail Basecoat to prevent staining, and make my manicure last longer :)

Then I applied one coat of Red Red and let it dry, then applied another.
This is a pre-cleanup pic. So messy, I know! Shaky hands :(
I did a quick cleanup...
...Then I added 1 thick coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat.

Now because I took these pics at nighttime, I couldn't get the right lighting (so I had to use the dreaded flash...) and these pictures make the polish look like a bright tomato red, which is not the case at all! It's more of a cherry red, going on a dark red, but not quite... It's definitely not as bright as the above pictures show, though.

without flash

I had to take this photo the next morning because I couldn't get the right lighting to show the true color. While this isn't exactly the true dark red that Red Red is, it's pretty close.
If you're looking for a nail polish with lots of unique and great colors at an amazing price, I urge you to go out and buy some colors from the Wild Shine collection!

Thanks for reading!

UPDATE: I have heard negative reviews on the Wild Shine nail polishes because of their lasting time. It is true the Wild Shine polishes don't last an awful long time without a topcoat, but when I use a coat of Seche Vite, it lasts for a few days with minor tipwear and tiny chips. If lasting power is what you're looking for in a nail polish, you might want to steer clear of these polishes.

Neutrogena Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser

Hi!(: It's Liz

I'm going to be reviewing the Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser from Neutrogena. It costs around $7.99 for a 6 FL OZ (177 mL) tube. You can buy this from most drugstores or wherever they sell Neutrogena products. I bought mine at Wal-Mart. It claims: "With naturally soothing aloe and chamomile, this rich, creamy cleanser powerfully clears away breakouts and blackheads without over-drying, and visibly reduces redness caused by acne. Unique formula calms irritation so skin looks and feels clearer and healthier."  This cleanser did calm some the redness, but there was no dramatic difference. It overdries the skin and is not calming by any means. Has an o.k. smell, but after a while starts to smell bad just from smelling it so much. This did not clear my acne. I would not recommend this to anyone and will not be repurchasing this again.
